Louvered Screening Design

Louvered screening is a type of fence that is often used to enclose small areas rather than large swaths of land. Read on to find out about the reasons for its use and the benefits of louvered screening.

Design

The design of louvered screening is such that it keeps out the elements but lets in air. It does this by using a design similar to blinds on a window that are turned down. The fence provides great protection from the elements in this way, but still lets in air, which is important because louvered screening is often used to house things like the hub of a ventilation system. These HVAC units need to be placed outside in order to draw in air, but they also need to be fenced in for protection. Louvered screening offers a great way to protect these units while still allowing them to draw in or discharge the air that they need.
