Hercules Custom Iron, a division of Hercules Fence, celebrated the grand opening and ribbon cutting of its new 60,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Frederick, Maryland. Located at the former Flying Dog Brewery site, the newly renovated facility represents a major investment in custom metal fabrication, advanced manufacturing, and skilled trades in Frederick County.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony welcomed state and local leaders, including Maryland Governor Wes Moore and Frederick County Executive Jessica Fitzwater, alongside other community partners and industry representatives. The event highlighted the region’s continued growth in manufacturing, workforce development, and American-made production.
Since acquiring the property in 2024, Hercules Custom Iron has more than doubled its workforce and significantly expanded its custom metal fabrication and machining capabilities. This new Frederick facility positions the company for long-term growth while reinforcing its commitment to U.S. manufacturing, innovation, and the local community.
