Why Our Aluminum Fences Stand up to the Seasons

As spring arrives and the seasons change, we’re reminded of the effect that the elements can have on outdoor installations. This is why here at Hercules Custom Iron we make all of our aluminum in-house and treat it with our unique thermally applied powder coating to protect the fence from the elements and maintain a color that does not fade or chip. This coating features a zinc primer for a high quality finish as well as a polyester coat which offers 8-10 mils of protection. In addition, aluminum is non-ferric, and we treat ours with an anti-rust inhibiting sealer to prevent flash rusting as well. Aluminum will not rust from exposure to water, whether it’s rain in the summer or snow and ice in the winter. We think you’ll see the difference it makes when your fence company has a separate facility dedicated to the production of aluminum.
